Abstract: As an important part of the new generation of information technology，the Internet of Things has been widely used in many fields such as smart medical care，smart transportation，and smart city.As an important part of the public cultural service field，library is also constantly trying to use the Internet of Things technology to develop the technological transformation from intelligent library to smart library.Taking new Jiangxi Provincial Library under construction as an example，this paper changes the status quo of the relatively backward intelligent service of the library according to the urgent need，and discusses the development policy and planning of the library under the Internet of Things technology，and studies the contents of the intelligent library，Network technology platform solutions，development of smart library service projects and other dimensions，and strive to build the Jiangxi Province library service system during the Internet of Things，and ultimately realize the wisdom of the Jiangxi Provincial Library.
