Comparative Study on the Reading Promotion of College Libraries from the Perspective of Life Cycle:Take Henan Province as an Example

Abstract: Reading promotion is an important reader service work of college libraries,the introduction of life cycle theory provides a new dynamic perspective for research in this field. The article selects 7 college libraries in Henan Province as the research sample,collects data using the survey method and interview method,divides each library's reading promotion activities into early,middle,and later stages,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of Henan college libraries reading promotion through comparative analysis, and propose improvement strategies based on the activity characteristics of each life cycle stage for reference by college libraries,in order to promote the improvement of the quality of reading promotion services.
