Abstract: Siku Quanshu Zongmu classifies Tangshi Jishi and Songshi Jishi into the category of"Poetry and Literature Review",and traces them back to Benshi Shi and considers that they deviate from the style.It is quite inappropriate for scholarsof later generationstofollow and expand thescope of these viewpoint.To acertain extent,the Siku Librariansneglect thecompilation intentions of the compilersand the fundamental differences between the works and Benshi Shi.The formation of librarians'criticism is related to the trend of thought of emphasizing history in the Qing Dynasty.At the same time,it also aggravated the historic color of the"Ji-Shi"works appearing in the Qing Dynasty."JiShi"works are self-contained with its unique form and content:recordingthepoemsand eventsof adynasty,thepoemshasan independent statusthat doesnot depend on events,events are widely involved in anecdotes,comments,textual research and facts.Qingshi Jishi Chubian is different from other works in style and theme,so it should not be regarded as a work of"JiShi Style"."JiShi Style"isaspecial formof poetry collection.
