Abstract:

This paper makes empirical research on female librarians’ innovation ability in university libraries of Zhejiang province.It finds that many factors directly affect their development in their careers and restrict the promotion of their innovation ability.These factors contain traditional gender discrimination,the bondage of marriage and the lack of the equal competition opportunity between women and men.It can help them to promote innovation ability themselves to formulate policies and security systems of the development about female librarians’innovation ability in the university library so that the library serves teaching and scientific research effectively to improve the academic research ability of teachers and students.
