Research about the Influence of Commitment on Loyalty in the University Library

Abstract: Commitment is an important psychological motivation for forming user loyalty.This research uses the method called structural equation model analysis to explore the composition of the dimensions of commitment and the impact of dimensions of commitment on loyalty.The results show that user commitment significantly affects the user loyalty,and the degree of impact of the three dimensions of commitment on loyalty ranking from high to low is normative commitment,continuous commitment and emotional commitment.In the future,in order to further improve the level of user loyalty,university libraries should strengthen the library’s normative role in teaching,scientific research and user learning,continue to improve the library’s resources provision services,and improve the quality of interaction among library users and between users and libraries.
