Abstract:

This paper investigates the classification and indexing of literatures in five libraries using the new category of H31 English literatures in Chinese Library Classification (5th edition) by visiting the library homepage and interviewing the relevant staff. Combined with work practice, it analyzes the current situation of classification and indexing of English literatures and the existing problem, puts forward some solutions to the problem and some suggestions on the revision of the classification of English literatures.
