DRAA Digital Resources Long-term Preservation Program Terms Research

This study takes the existing joint procurement scheme of DRAA as the research object,sorting out and analyzing the terms of long-term preservation of digital resources in the joint procurement scheme of DRAA.To investigate the existence and absence of medium and long term preservation clauses in DRAA scheme;Further compare the similarities and differences of the scheme clauses provided by different database providers in the alliance of long-term storage of digital resources, and provide data and case support for the setting of DRAA joint procurement scheme in long-term storage of digital resources.First of all,the research status of long-term preservation schemes offered by 48 selected database providers is analyzed,including whether the long-term preservation clauses are supported or not,as well as the method of preservation,the right party of preservation, the contents of preservation and payment. Secondly, based on the above situation, the longterm preservation terms of DRAA digital resources are analyzed.It also points out the current mode of digital resource procurement and points out the irrationality of this mode from the perspective of law. Finally, this paper proposes to consider the long-term preservation clause as a necessary part, explore the mode of "rent and purchase simultaneously",promote the quality evaluation of the scheme,and clarify the three core issues of preservation subject,preservation content and payment.
