Abstract: The paper reflects the current situation of the research on the relationship between libraries and think tanks in China.We summarize the existing research results,analyzes the content of the published research literature mainly involving the service content, mode, role and other factors. We find that the participation of libraries in think tank activities is a gradual process,gradual,unidirectional and limited.From the view of integration depth of libraries and think tanks,six kinds of relations between them are summarized.
