Abstract: In order to improve the website information security protection of public libraries in China in the legal environment of the new era，this paper starts with the latest laws and legislations，such as?Public?Cultural?Service?Guarantee?Act?of?the?People’s?Republic?of?China，Cybersecurity?Law?of?the?People’s?Republic?of?China，Public?library?law?of?thePeople’s?Republic?of?China，by means of listing the fresh cases of institutions about website information security.It finally expounds the problem and shortcoming of public libraries in China on the prevention of information security on websites，and also proposes the information security protection strategy of public libraries under the rule of law environment，which provides reference for the website information security protection of public libraries in China in the new era.
