Abstract: At present,the gray literature,especially the conference literature,is an indispensable part of the library’s literature service.This paper takes the construction and service of conference documents in Shanghai Library as a research example.Three aspects have been discussed and analyzed like conference document collection,conferences database construction,and conferences knowledge organization and service.This paper also analyzes the new methods and measures of Shanghai Library for the organization and service of conference literature knowledge under the network environment.In the end,proposal has been offered for the construction of conference literature collection resources of Shanghai Library.
