Abstract:

This paper analyzes the necessity and the feasibility of the technology, organization, fund of the third-party evaluation of public libraries in China, puts forward the following comments on the third-party evaluation of the public library: competent culture departments and public libraries at all levels should be fully aware of the necessity of the third-party evaluation of the public library, pay attention to deal with several relationships in third-party evaluation, set up related supporting policies according to the practical experience and theoretical research in the third-party evaluation of the public library timely.
