Abstract: This paper analyzes on the connotation of the concept of the core competence of the public library,analyzes on the characteristics of the core competence of the public library,and puts forward some suggestions for improving the core competence of the public library around the general goal of"making good use of the resources as a whole,improving the service ability and perfecting the management system".
