Abstract: Through analyzing the social functions of libraries and their role in social development,especially in the process of resisting risks,this paper discusses the relationship between the construction of resilient city and libraries,and propose some concrete methods for libraries participating in the construction of resilient city,such as play the role of the third space,improving urban residents' information literacy,cracking down on false information on the internet,enhance the ability of library to deal with crisis and risk, and enhance the professional resilience of librarians.
