Abstract: By introducing the long tail theory,this paper expounds the tail characteristics and strength of folk libraries as the library system,analyses the difficulties faced by folk libraries in terms of funds,talents and systems,and puts forward strategies for expanding the long tail effect of folk libraries，in order to provide reference for thediversified development of public cultural servicenetwork system.
