Abstract:

The promotion of experiential reading starts from the readers' reading needs and reading behaviors, and design steps of participation and interaction in reading promotion activities, allowing readers to be exposed to a certain reading situation. By fully mobilizing their bodies' visual sense, auditory sense, body movement and brain thinking, readers are able to devote themselves into reading, which is a precise way to promote reading. This paper analyses the ideas and methods to promote experiential reading activities in libraries, taking the “Zhongtu Reading Gathering” of Sun Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province as an example.
