摘要： 基于内容的图像检索技术在数字档案馆、网络信息安全、预防犯罪、知识产权、医疗诊断等领域有着广泛的应用。对基于内容的检索技术的研究意义和研究现状进行了阐述，着重介绍了基于内容（颜色、纹理、形状）的图像检索技术及其对于数字档案馆建设的意义。

Abstract: The content-based image retrieval technique has widespread application in many domains such as in digital archives, information security,prevention of crime,intellectual property rights,medical diagnosis.This paper elaborates the research significance and the research present situation of the content-based retrieval technique,and introduces emphatically the content-based image retrieval technology and the significance of it＇ s application in digital archives construction.
