摘要： 图书馆开展知识信息服务的前提条件是深入到知识单元层次进行文献信息资源开发。论述了转型期图书馆文献信息资源开发的涵义和多方面的作用,认为文献资源调研、读者需求调研、制订规划和产品标准、确定项目和实施步骤为其基本任务。

Abstract: Going deep into the arrangement of knowledge unit of the document and exploiting the information resources is a prerequisite for library to unfold the knowledge information services .The author discusses the meanings and the many-sided functions of exploitation of document information resources of libraries during the transformation period and holds that the basic tasks are the investigation and study of document resources,the investigation and study of the reader requirement,the working out a exploitation plan and the produce standards, defining the item and their implementing steps.
