摘要： 资料分类是资料整理的核心工作。全文检索技术的迅速发展，没有否定分类检索的价值。但对信息分类工作提出了新的要求．建立开放的、共享的分类标准。推行新闻资料分类标准化势在必行。而编制统一的新闻资料分类标准，应坚持科学性、实用性、前瞻性、兼容性等原则。

Abstract: Data classification is the key to data arrangement. The quick development of technology of data searching in full doen＇ t deny the value of classified data searching, however, it raises a new claim for information classification, that is, it is imperative to establish open and shared classification standard and carry out standardized classification of news material. Drawing up uniform classification standard for news material should adhere to such principles as being scientific, practical, foreseeable and compatible.
