试析开放存取运动兴起的原因

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 开放存取运动给传统学术出版业带来极大的冲击和挑战。对开放存取运动兴起的原因作了深入的分析．认为一是出版商对学术期刊出版的垄断和暴利经营，二是图书馆购买能力下降，三是信息技术的运用使学术期刊出版和传播的成本大为降低．四是现有的学术信息传播方式与研究人员的初衷相背离。

Abstract: The rise of the open access movement has dealt a big shock and poses a sever challenge to the tradictional academic publishing industry.The present paper conducts a profound analyses of its reasons,namely the monopoly of the academic journals by publishers;the waning of libraries＇ purchasing power;the lowering of the publication and dissermation costs of academic journals brought about by the application of information technology;the current pattern of information dissermation running counter to the researchs＇ original intent.
