Abstract: On the basis of the technological development of the storage system, this paper employs the information life cycle management theory of the data, and then makes a detail discussion on the hierarchical application and management in university＇s digital library construction of storage technology. It aims at solving the problem that data amount in university digital library increasing sharply at present, but storage system fund input is in serious shortage. In the end, it puts forward the hierarchical storage system suitable for digital library storage system construction and development at the same time and structure the tactics.
