Abstract: Using the methods of literature investigation, knowledge visualization, word frequency analysis and CNKI statistical functions, this paper analyzes the reading promotion research. The result shows that the research of reading promoting in China is at the beginning, but the amount of research papers increases at higher speed on the whole. The academic community is enlarging but instable, the distribution of journal has unbalanced characteristic, as well as the distribution of intuition and district. The key research fields include the connotation of reading promotion ,reading promotion in library, research on the national reading and research on the promotion of young children＇s reading.
