Abstract: Most of the young migrant workers find it difficult to get appropriate jobs or they can only be employed with bad conditions. The employment of young migrant workers is not only an economic issue, but also an information issue. This paper finds that young migrants have grasped the modern information communication means, and modern public information services play an important role in their job seeking. The modern public information services produce positive impacts on the job seeking and employment quality of the young migrant workers. It is suggested that government and public information institutions should further promote the modernization and socialization of their public information services to improve the employment status of young migrant workers.
