Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology and Internet technology, as an information vulnerable groups, the blind are facing with a severe situation of the digital divide problem gradually expand, so using the Internet to construct the digital library for the blind in order to ensure their equal right access to information is very necessary. This paper illustrates the development actuality of the digital library for the blind and points out obstacles in its development process, thereby puts forward to the corresponding countermeasures.
