Abstract: Facing diversified emergencies,public libraries should play a pivotal role in information service.Based on the cases study of emergency information services of public library websites in China and abroad,this paper discusses the focus of information services provided by public libraries in China and abroad for epidemic control and conducted comparative analysis to reveal the commonalities and differences.Based on the characteristics and performance of emergency information services,In order to provide the response strategies for the public libraries to carry out emergency information services,such as information service,resource reserve,technology development,personnel training,management mechanism and so on.
